New Sustainable Product

Recognising Sustainability Innovations

This award gives recognition to innovative food and beverage products with strong sustainability credentials; these could be ethical, environmental, social, or packaging considerations. The product should have been launched in the last three years, and there should be evidence of sustainability claims.

Gold Winner: Nothing F!SHY AB Breaded F!SH Filé

Silver Winner: FareShare Pork and Mashed Potato

The finalists were ALDI S.r.l Biova, K-Group GmbH Kooray spice ‘n easy Organic Thai curry sauce,  and Vieille Graine Sorghum pasta.

 

Judging Criteria:

  • Innovation: Novel approach to addressing sustainability issue
  • Market Relevance: The product is relevant to the market and meets customer needs
  • Impact: Makes a significant difference in terms of environmental, social, and / or ethical impact
  • Verifiable: Evidence of sustainability merits


Eligibility:

  • New product has strong sustainability credentials
  • Launched within the last 3 years
  • Evidence of sustainability claims
